Notes from the bid opening held Friday, January 20, 2006, at 3:00 PM, at the Keene Town Hall. The following individuals were present: William B. Ferebee, Supervisor, Kirk Bassarab, AES Engineer, Todd Ormsby, bidder and Ellen Estes, Town Clerk.

Mr. Ferebee opened the following three (3) bids, following the Town’s request for bids on the construction of a new backup well for Water District No. 2:

Ron Gill Well Drilling, Inc. $42,430.00
Layne Christianson, Co. 39,750.00
Ormsby’s Well Drilling 36,190.00

Mr. Ferebee thanked Mr. Ormsby for coming and explained that AES Northeast would look over the bids and make their recommendation to the Town Board who would be meeting on Tuesday, January 31st.

The meeting was adjourned at 3:06 PM.
