Notes from the surplus bid opening held Tuesday, February 27, 2007, at 9:30 PM, at the Keene Town Hall. Bruce Reed, Highway Superintendent and Ellen Estes, Town Clerk were present.

The following bids were received for advertised surplus equipment:

Vernard Gonyea, from Jay, bid $1,305.00 on the 2002 Extended Cab Ford 4x4 pickup with western plow and $25.00 on the 17’ x 4’ metal gate.

Mike Jock, from Malone, bid $1,651.00 on the 1994 International truck, $110.00 on the 9’ fisher plow, $90.00 on the 9’ frink reversacast plow and $90.00 on the mower, as is.

Marcel Giroux, from Plattsburgh, bid $7,810.00 on the 2002 pickup truck.

These bids will be presented to the Town Board at tonight’s Town Board Meeting and then filed in the Town Clerk’s Office.
