Notes from the bid opening held Tuesday, March 4th, 2008, at 10:00 AM, at the Keene Town Hall. The following individuals were present: Bruce Reed, Highway Superintendent, Marcy LeClair, Matt Taylor, Representative for Nortrax and Ellen Estes, Town Clerk.

The Bid opening began at 10:03 AM.

Four (4) sealed bids were received for the advertised purchase of a 2008 4-Wheel Drive Loader.

Mr. Reed opened the following bids:

Nortrax - $59,856.00 w/trade in
Vantage - 59,359.07 w/trade in
S.C. Hanson - 59,492.73 w/trade in
Tracey Road Equipment - 73,418.00 (not clear about trade in)

Mr. Reed will clarify and compare the bids and bring his recommendation to the Town Board at next week’s meeting.

The opening of bids was finished at 10:17 AM.
