Minutes of the Special Town Board Meeting held Tuesday, July 6, 2010 at 4:00 PM, at the Keene Town Hall. The following Town Board Members were present: William B. Ferebee, Supervisor, Paul R. Martin, Marcy A. Neville and Lawrence Jaques, Members of Council. Absent: Robert M. Biesemeyer, Member of Council. Also present: Ellen S. Estes, Town Clerk.
The Chairman, Mr. Ferebee, called the meeting to order at 4:06 PM.
Resolution No. 138 – 10
Mr. Martin offered a resolution and moved its adoption. Be it resolved, that the Town Board enter into Executive Session to discuss personnel. This resolution was seconded by Mr. Ferebee.

Mr. Ferebee: Yes
Mr. Martin: Yes
Mr. Biesemeyer: Absent
Ms. Neville: Yes
Mr. Jaques: Yes
The Town Board entered into Executive Session at 4:06 PM.
Resolution No. 139 – 10
Mr. Ferebee offered a resolution and moved its adoption. Be it resolved, that the Town Board reconvene into regular session. This resolution was seconded by Ms. Neville.

Mr. Martin: Yes
Mr. Biesemeyer: Absent
Ms. Neville: Yes
Mr. Jaques: Yes
The Town Board reconvened into regular session at 4:22 PM.
Resolution No. 140 – 10
Mr. Ferebee offered a resolution and moved its adoption. Be it resolved, that John Hudson be appointed to the vacant position of Building Code Officer, this being a 1 year appointment to began immediately, at the salary of $14,007, for a minimum 16 hour work week. This resolution was seconded by Ms. Neville.

Mr. Biesemeyer: Absent
Ms. Neville: Yes
Mr. Jaques: Oppose
When asked by Mrs. Estes if this position included Safety Officer, Mr. Ferebee said no, saying that would be done by the County.

Mr. Jaques offered a resolution and moved its adoption. Be it resolved, that all business having been transacted, this meeting be adjourned. This resolution was seconded by Ms. Neville.
