Notes from the bid opening held Tuesday, July 13, 2010, at 11:00 AM, at the Keene Town Hall. The following individuals were present: William B. Ferebee, Supervisor, Ellen S. Estes, Town Clerk and Paul Trombley.

Mr. Ferebee began the bid opening at 11:00 AM saying these bids were for the Judge’s Addition to the Town Hall.

Mr. Ferebee opened and read aloud the following 5 bids:

Hayes Contracting –

$85,800 base bid using alternate #1

82,900 base bid using alternate #2

Charles Segard Builders –

$64,500 base bid using alternate #2, including new handicapped ramp

5,000 additional for alternate #1

4,000 for demolition and removal of existing handicapped ramp

Brett Meyer –

$139,585.00 for full project

L.G. White –

$111,000.00 base bid

13,900.00 additional for alternate #1

7,900.00 additional for alternate #2

8,800.00 for demolition and removal of existing handicapped ramp

RJR Development –

$85,244.00 base bid using alternate #1

78,129.00 base bid using alternate #2

Mr. Ferebee closed the bid opening at 11:08 AM, saying the bids would be shared with the Town Board at tonight’s Town Board Meeting.
