Minutes of the Public Hearing held Tuesday, August 10, 2010, at 6:45 PM, at the Keene Town Hall. The following Town Board Members were present: William B. Ferebee, Supervisor, Robert M. Biesemeyer, Marcy A. Neville and Lawrence Jaques, Members of Council. Absent: Paul R. Martin, Member of Council. Also present were:1 resident, Bruce Reed, Highway Superintendent and Ellen Estes, Town Clerk.

The Chairman, Mr. Ferebee, opened the Public Hearing at 6:45 PM, explaining that tonight's hearing was to receive comments and concerns from the public in relation to Local Law #2 of 2010,a Local Law electing a Retirement Incentive Program, Part A, Chapter 105, Laws of 2010 for the Eligible Employees of the Town of Keene.

Ms. Neville asked for confirmation that she understood correctly that the Town would have to save a certain percentage on the position vacated by any early retirement.
Mr. Ferebee said that on any early retirement given, the Town would have to show a reduction of 50% over 2 years.

With no other questions or comments the hearing was adjourned at 6:50 PM.
