Minutes of the Special Town Board Meeting held Tuesday, November 18, 2008, at 5:00 PM, at the Keene Town Hall. The following Town Board Members were present: William B. Ferebee, Supervisor, Paul R. Martin, Robert M. Biesemeyer and Marcy Neville, Council Members. Absent: Lawrence Jaques, Member of Council. Also present: Ellen S. Estes, Town Clerk.

The Chairman, Mr. Ferebee, called the meeting to order at 5:03 PM, saying there had been no changes in the proposed 2009 Budget since the last meeting.

The Town Board was given a clean copy of the proposed 2009 Budget, which included all changes previously discussed by the Board as worked on throughout the budget process.

Mr. Ferebee gave each Member of the Board a printout of the 2009 Budget Analysis of tax impact comparison of the 2008 and the 2009 fiscal budgets for the Town of Keene.

Mr. Biesemeyer asked what the final budget increase was. Mr. Ferebee answered 3.8%.

Resolution No. 194 – 08

Mr. Martin offered a resolution and moved its adoption. Be it resolved, that the Town Board adopt the 2009 Fiscal Budget as presented. This resolution was seconded by Mr. Biesemeyer.

Ms. Neville: Yes

Mr. Jaques: Absent

Mr. Ferebee spoke to the Board, who was agreeable, to have a small retirement luncheon for Argenta Reed and Paula McDonough.

Resolution No. 195 – 08

Ms. Neville offered a resolution and moved its adoption. Be it resolved, that all business having been transacted this meeting be adjourned. This resolution was seconded by Mr. Biesemeyer.
