Minutes of the Public Hearing held Tuesday, December 14, 2010, at 6:45 PM, at the Keene Town Hall. The following Town Board Members were present: William B. Ferebee, Supervisor, Paul R. Martin, Marcy A. Neville and Lawrence Jaques, Members of Council. Absent: Robert M. Biesemeyer, Member of Council. Also present were: 4 residents and Ellen Estes, Town Clerk.

The Chairman, Mr. Ferebee, called the hearing to order at 6:53 PM and explained this meeting was to discuss and receive comments on the proposed Local Law #3 of 2010, a Dog Licensing and Control Law.

Ellen Estes further explained that due to changes in the NYS Department of Agriculture and Markets laws regarding the issuance of dog licenses, the responsibility of issuance is being turned over to the Town level. She said there are guidelines built into the law which are required by NYS Dept. of Ag & Markets.

Mr. Ferebee asked for questions or comments, there were none.

Resolution No. 225 – 10 Mr. Ferebee offered a resolution and moved its adoption. With no questions or comments from those present, this hearing be adjourned. This resolution was seconded by Mr. Martin. Roll Call Vote: Mr. Ferebee: Yes Mr. Martin: Yes Mr. Biesemeyer: Absent Ms. Neville: Yes Mr. Jaques: Yes

The meeting was adjourned at 6:56 PM.
